ABOUT US

Giving inmates the added edge of Modern Technology…

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read about us.  Below we will give as much information as we can on our rapidly growing web community.  We are constantly adding additional services so stay tuned…

All inmates may obtain a personal webpage FREE!
click here to view a sample page

VFI’s goal is to bridge the communication barrier that exists in and around the criminal "justice" system today and bring everyone in the prisoner support community closer together to effect change in policy, prisoner rights, sentencing and so much more.

Each inmate that joins our program will be classified a “VFI Participant” and will be provided with business cards stating what their personal VFI Participant page is and some of the many services visitors may take advantage of upon viewing their page.

Upon visiting the VFI Participants personal web page you can write them (see details below) and or  send them money via credit card and much more.

Inmates, are frequently relocated from one jail to another… Once and inmate becomes a  VFI Participant his/her page follows them.  There are many ways VFI can be contacted and informed of a participants relocation.  Upon notice to us we will update your personal webpage accordingly.

SEE BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS

Each VFI Participant will have access to the following services.

#1 INSTANT MAIL: Those who otherwise would not write the inmate due to the inconvenience of  "snail mail" can now simply email them.  We will provide each inmate with a POP3 personal email account & a section on the participants webpage where friends and family can just drop a note.  Family, friends and love ones  will be able to use Outlook Express... or any other email client and view all emails sent the participant (provided the participant grants you the authority to do so by giving you the password)**This is just one added measure to further assure you receive your messages in a timely fashion.  VFI “snail mails” all messages sent the participant on a weekly basis  (see below)**

Please Note:  Inmates DO NOT have access to computers.  VFI Support “snail mails” ALL messages sent to them via their personal webpage or pop3 email address on a weekly basis FREE!  Anyone wanting to send you a message can goto your page and simply type away  WE take care of the rest ;)

#2 SEND MONEY: Those who visit a VFI Participants personal webpage will be able to financially contribute to that participant by simply clicking the (Make A Donation) button..  We find that those who would otherwise not send a check or don't have time to get a money order will, when it is convenient spend a few minutes online and make a donation by credit card...

#3 IMPORTANT INFO: Those who visit the VFI Participants personal webpage will be able to see all pertinent information on the participant.  What jail/prison they are now at, the jail/prisons address/phone and fax, who the participants attorney is…..and more importantly what we like to call HOT numbers they can dial to GET THINGS DONE! should the need arise.  (Phone and Fax numbers to the jails/prisons Head Office…)

#4 THE VAULT: We will digitize any and all of the participants transcripts / documents they request and make them readily available for download (by the click of a button) on the participants personal webpage.  These documents will be viewable in the popular Adobe PDF format.  We believe this will be a unique asset during an inmates appellate process.  Instead of being burdened with the cost of having to ship this large package out to each perspective attorney.  Anyone interested in seeing the details of the participants case can simply go to their page and download FREE! everything they need to consider the case…

As the founder of VFI I have developed and maintained sites that have averaged over 3,000 hits a day.  I’ve found that many crucial decisions are based on mere convenience.  Finding time in our busy lives is becoming increasingly more difficult.

By giving VFI Participants these additional tools those  who choose to stay in touch.  We now make it convenient to do so.

Again, thank you for taking the time to learn about our VFI services.

Sincerely,

Darnell Barber
