I've been
incarcerated now for almost seven years, I've spent them by finding
myself and getting reconnected with God. The last couple I've also spent
reconnecting with my family and loved ones. Rebuilding the relationships
that I've destroyed, with the drug addictive and crazy lifestyle that I
once lived. I could sit here and tell you a sad story about it all, but
I rather you rejoice with me in knowing that I've overcome all those
things that once held me captive. The Lord has freed me from them and
has given me a whole new purpose worth living for. I want to be the best
man that I can be, the best father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin,
friend and one day a husband as well. I want to be a pillar for my
family and friends, someone they go to for advice, an encouraging word
or just someone who will listen to what they have to say. I'm done
letting life defeat me and I'm defeating myself. Life's too precious to
waste it, plus there's a whole new meaning to it when you look at it
through new eyes. So if you care to share a glimpse into mine, I would
really enjoy sharing with you. I have a beautiful story to tell,
valuable lessons that I've learned and a honest and awesome friendship
that will last forever! I hope to hear from you soon, God bless you
