  My name is David Hodge Jr., but my family and friends refer to me as "S.D."  I'm originally from New Jersey, the East Orange and Newark sections, although I've lived in North Carolina (Fayetteville) the majority of my life.  I'm currently 33 yrs of age and my birthday is the 12th of July.  I'm 6 foot, 3 inches in height and my weight is between 225-235 pounds.  I have dark brown hair, which I've been wearing in "Locks" for the past 11 years, and my eyes are dark brown as well.

  I'm very athletic and I like to stay fit (Mentally & Spiritually as well as Physically).  I've been a vegetarian for over 14 yrs and within the past couple of years I've become a "Vegan."  I've been incarcerated in the Federal Prison system since I was 19 yrs old (over 14 yrs).  Fortunately, I will be released in January of 2009.  Unfortunately, I have no wife, have never been married and have no children.  Hopefully in the near future I can change all of that.  I'm really looking forward to putting my life back on track, and I definitely have a strong support system backing me (5 sisters & 3 brothers.)

  At the time of my incarceration (1994), I was in my second semester of my sophomore year, attending Virginia Union University, so I definitely have strong intentions of going back to complete my schooling.  At this point  in my life, I'm very interested in meeting new people.  Much has changed since I've last been in society and I'm hoping to meet some new found friends that maybe can assist me during my transitional period.

  Before I bring my thoughts to a pause, I want to leave you with this:  "Please be conscious of the decisions that you make, because your whole life can be changed upon one simple mistake!"
