                                                      Is America truly Great?

  We are at a critical junction not just in our individual lives, but as a society.  One thing that Barack O'Bama's campaign has brought out is old behaviors in the people of this country.  America will say that it is blacks fault for being only 14% of the population, but nearly 75% of America's prison population.  We are inherently violent when code words such as hand outs are mentioned or welfare.  Naturally, white America attributes this to black people being among them yet the fact is, is that there are more white people in this country then blacks or Latino's who are on welfare.  Yet you will hear many talk show hosts blast on TV the mind of it's listeners that America is a great nation.  I don't doubt that but what were the events under her skirts that led to that greatness.  The evil of the rapes of men, women and children on the slave ships to break them in?  The wealth that was gained from the slave labor and the cost of only $5.00 a year to maintain a cabin of slaves?  The church ordaining slavery as something God gave the responsibility to civilize the uncivilized?  The late night trips to the cabin by the male slave owner to rape the black slave women?  The knowledge of these acts by the white mistress but not saying anything to jeopardize her status in life?  The first terrorist group formed in America, the KKK?  The lynching of many, many black men, women, and even children by white people during the Jim Crow years? 

  Yeah, America is great before God only when she faces her shame and guilt, and the atonement and then she can move forward and truly become great.  No this is not a blame game, it is the truth.  White America cannot continue to be arrogant.  We are right and everyone else is wrong.  It's our way or the highway, Exodus, Chap. 7 verse 3 "And I will harden Pharaoh's heart and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt."  Exodus, Cap. 14 verse 13 "And Moses said unto the people, fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord which he will show to you the day for Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
