Message From inmate
Herman A. Baron # 37799-037 |
|
If you happen to be reading this then you have taken the first step into
entering my world. Please allow me to formally introduce myself.
My parents named me Herman A. Baron III but everybody calls me Solgie.
Solgie is the acronym that shows my disposition on life "Staying
On Level Ground In Everything".
When one enters into a negative situation like this it's imperative that
you strive for supreme excellence. In doing so I've become a
teacher, artist and a poet. Since my incarceration I have achieved
a number of accomplishments such as co-founded a non-profit
organization, published a book and was nominated for an image award.
In my free time I love reading, writing poetry, painting and exercising. Many say that struggle and
pain is the mother of creativity. To be is a gift, to be and not
do what you were born to do is a crime against your soul because the
souls presence is a being that perpetuates a constant doing. So
however can a man simply exist and be too scared to live.
Basically, I'm looking for a friend or that special person who knows
what they were born to do or is striving to attain a level of excellence
that forces you to live your dreams. I look forward to hearing
from you.
Food for thought...
The most
dramatic conflicts are perhaps, those that take place not between men
but between a man and himself where the arena of conflict is a solitary mind.
