Message From inmate
Ralph E. Wilkins # 337-388 |
|
I was told by an old friend not long ago that, we heard you were dead.
This hurt me-shocked me and gave me a reason to stop and think about my
mortality.
I asked myself, what have I done to leave a positive mark on this
society? Maybe I can help.
I am trained, educated (a little) and willing. I am a man in good standing
in most places. Truth be known, I am one who has a positive track
record-for the most part. There are people who know nothing of my
incarceration.
I will now make
myself open to you, my friend. Open to all conversation. I
will not lie or lead you on. I will be straight with you.
Why would anyone want to seek my advise? Why not? I have been
there. I am 57 with many experiences. I am willing to do
some good, if I can. I am only a man but a well traveled and
somewhat learned man.
I am seeking correspondence (pen pals) from all walks of life. I
like writing and reading. I like the interactions between peoples
and the free expression of ideas.
I am a straight man and am seeking females who understand themselves.
If spirituality were a question, how would you word it? Would it
be in a prayer or a speech? To yourself, your loved ones, a
religious gathering or just a stranger? Who's idea of spirituality
do we teach and to whom, to what end?
Our lives are clouded by many things. So clouded
until its hard to read what is written down in front of us.
Reading is God's first order to man/woman. God writes in nature
upon everything. Man writes on surfaces. We are responsible
for the readings and the telling. Tell the truth and let it stand.
How have I harmed you? Write Soon!
