Message From inmate
Wade B. Driskill # 35568-177 |

Hello.
My name is Wade and I am a 34 year old white male from the Dallas/Fort
Worth (Texas) Metroplex. I have a great sense of humor and love to not
only laugh, but make others laugh as well. I am currently serving a 65
month sentence for illegal possession of a firearm and will be released
in December of 2010.
I am not bitter about my time. For many years I lived a life of danger
and excitement mixed with despair, filled with high highs and low lows
that exceed anything imaginable in the real world. I honestly feel that
this experience saved my life and allowed me to become the man I was
meant to be. I realized that justice is not only to punish someone for
doing wrong, it is also a last resort to save them. In my case, it saved
me from myself. My only regret is the pain and hurt I have caused my
family and loved ones.
I have spent all my time concentrating on myself and becoming the best
person I can be. I have taken both college, vocational and substance
abuse classes and currently work as a GED Instructor in the Educational
Department at the facility I am in. My entire way of thinking has
changed about so many things, as I now find my thoughts and ideals
echoing those of the law and order proponents. I have no shame in my
hypocrisy though, as I am simply not the man I use to be.
Right now, I am concentrating on my release plans, as I plan to continue
my college schooling and eventually become a Licensed Chemical
Dependency Counselor (L.C.D.C.) and do public speaking and substance
abuse counseling. I have been to the bottom and climbed my way back on
top and know that I can help others do the same thing.
Lots of guys join this website looking for a good woman or a good
friend. Honestly, I am not sure what I am looking for. All I know for
sure is that I have not found it yet......but am hopeful. I also have a
Facebook page if you would like to read a little more about me.
